IS A REQUIEM FOR REPUBLICANISM?

History led witnessed decades of a strong democracy and approaching the 74th Republic Day. There are three national celebrations  Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, and Republic Day. These are the three celebrations where all the Indians celebrate without considering the religion, cast, region, race, creed, class, and language. Republic day has another speciality. The INC proclaimed India as Purna Swaraj in1930 January 26. In 1947 even if we obtained liberty we had to wait for two and half years to make the country an actual republic.

Passing through all those golden years of pre-independent India, The constitution was found to prowess the dignity of every Indian to acknowledge the fundamental rights, duties, and fair laws. This largest constitution is the wealth and pride of our nation.

But during these years, do we see the authenticity of our republic nation? Our slogan "of the people, by the people and for the people" is just being an illusion nowadays. In autism, people believe the fixed, flexible laws of the constitution drive the country, in fact, the precise more than what we see.In the meantime, celebrating the 74th Republic Day just missed Babri day. The prosperity of the constitution was shattered in Ayodhya land. When the Constitution, law, and authority abandoned the legacy of India, the conviction, faith, and belief in the republican country started to fade slowly. The double-dealing and the struggle for governance brought deformation of the Republic.

The Republic was made to guard the Indian people, protect their rights, and keep safe their honor, pride, and esteem.Do we get the country we wanted? or those wanted to see who struggle for freedom and sacrifice for our country? Babri is not just an exceptional case. From time to time we faced media control and regulations, injustice cases against innocents, and unfortunate assassinations of social activists who raised their voices against hypocrisy.

Does putting silence on the natives sounds Republic? The heritage of Muslim culture shattered into pieces in front of the whole of India. The Gouri Lankesh was killed in her own house. The NRC and other laws made the soldiers and grandchildren of the president outsiders. The hidden agenda is clear, to eliminate the voice of the Republic and more partiality, those arguing for justice, their voices suppressed. But the more suppression, the more they fought back.

Showing bias to some people to keep their seats isn't the nation that Mahatma dreamed for us. The atrocious people started to seize the country to possess power. If the struggle culminates and continues, we should stop dreaming in siesta as long as the executive, legislative, and judiciary systems are different from others, we can still hope for thoughtful, righteous, impartial justice verdict that brings a glorious future to India.
